As the night-shift manager of a 24 hour urgent care facility
you have decided to save the organization money by eliminating one front-desk
clerk during you shift and having the emergency medical technicians take on
additional job duties, such as taking vital signs on new admissions, putting
forms in charts, checking linen supplies, ensuring the exam and flashlights
have working bulbs and/ batteries, etc. What job design alternative are you
